National Tree week

Students of 2 Red were generously given trees from the Irish Tree Council to plant on the grounds of the school for National tree week. The aim of the project was to promote Irish native trees as part of their module on stewardship, where students studied the importance of tree conservation. The students planted 5 rowan trees but also gave out trees to all second year students and staff to bring home and plant. The students were delighted to have contributed to the school environment in such a positive way.
